Wikipedia editing 101

Knowing how to engage with projects like Wikipedia, rather than just passively read, is critical to media literacy in the current 'age of participation'. If teachers don't know how Wikipedia really works then what chance do the students have? This hands-on workshop will give teachers a guided tour of the "sausage factory" that is the world's largest encyclopedia and 4th most popular website.
If you have questions about a particular Wikipedia article or feature, bring your comments and we can dig into the details during this session.
