ACCE Australasian Educational Media Awards

edsoft: leaders in e-learning solutionsThis new award from the Australian Council for Computers in Education (ACCE) is generously sponsored by Edsoft, Australia's leading provider of educational resources and software.

This year at ACEC2010, ACCE would like to acknowledge the contribution of Australasian educators who support the learning community through blogs, wikis, podcasts, forums, mailing lists, virtual communities and other internet resources.

These days, while interacting within a global learning community, we don’t always have the opportunity to discover some of the good work occurring locally within our region. That’s why entries are called for this competition from the Australasian region i.e. Australia, New Zealand, or Oceania. If you know of a blog, podcast, wiki or some other educational media site from the Australasian region, nominate it to be listed for voting by the ACEC2010 community. You may even wish to nominate your own work!

Conference program online

Every ACEC conference committee invites academics working in the field of ICT in education to participate in a formal process of double blind peer review for a proportion of our conference sessions. Some papers are also published in a special conference edition of the ACCE Journal Australian Educational Computing

Peer review is an important facet of academic research. In a sense, this process links our present and future with a rich past, and reinforces why a conference like ours presents a rich opportunity for professionals, both researchers and practioners, to come together and share their knowledge and experience with ICT in education.

We're excited by the response to the call for papers for ACEC2010 and are now very proud to release the ACEC2010 conference program, including the peer reviewed papers. We would also like to acknowledge the dedicated work of our colleagues who participated in the review process.
